1st April to 31st October 2026
Bath on Screen
Your break includes a revelatory two-hour private walking tour through cinematic Bath with Fred Mawer Tours*. Fred Mawer is an award-winning professional Blue Badge tour guide – the badge is the UK's highest guiding qualification – and The Daily Telegraph’s resident travel expert on Bath.
Netflix's Bridgerton is the biggest production ever filmed in Bath. Your tour will take in the filming locations for the Modiste, Lady Danbury’s house and the Featheringtons' London townhouse. You’ll also discover how streets in Bath were turned into Regency Mayfair in London, and hear about behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the filming. The tour covers filming in Bath across the Bridgerton seasons.
Bath takes a starring role in many other films and TV shows. On your tour you’ll also see filming locations for Warner Bros' Wonka, which transformed parts of the city into a winter wonderland, Jane Austen adaptations, Vanity Fair, Les Misérables, recently released The Forsytes, and the upcoming Agatha Christie drama The Seven Dials Mystery.
* If Fred is not available, an alternative Blue Badge-qualified guide specialising in Bath will take the tour.
