Planning a family trip to Bath? We welcome younger guests, and will make sure your family is well-looked after throughout your trip!
We treat all of our guests - big and small - as VIPs! Children love our welcome amenities; our housekeeper Suzanne provides special toiletries for toddlers, plus treats, teddies, and books for the under-12s.
We also have a dedicated children’s afternoon tea and dining menu, plus lawn games to enjoy in our acre of private gardens. And don’t forget our rescue hedgehogs; children love to discover their special feeding stations, so tell them to keep their eyes peeled for empty snail shells, hedgehog poo, and other signs of hedgehogs passing through!
We have interconnecting rooms available, but if you’d prefer to stay in one room then our Heritage rooms, Master rooms or Suites can accommodate cots, extra beds or sofa beds.
We can provide cots for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old, bathrobes and high chairs at no additional charge.
Extra beds for children from 3 years up to 11 years old have a charge of £50 per child, per night.
Older children from 12 to 16 years old can be accommodated on a sofa bed in our Master Rooms and Deluxe Suites, charged at £150 per child, per night. No extra beds are available in our Heritage bedrooms.
Ages 17 and above are considered adults and will be treated accordingly.
We are delighted to make special arrangements for room fridges for storing children’s drinks, food and medicine. Just let us know in advance.
With your permission, we can also put a toy basket in your room.
Our Executive Head Chef David Campbell has designed a healthy, child-friendly menu for the restaurant. And if there is a favourite meal that’s required – just ask!
Children aged between 12 and 16 are allowed to use the 12-meter relaxation pool when accompanied by an adult.
30 minute facials and nail treatments are available to children aged between 12 and 16 years of age, when accompanied by an adult.
Children under 12 are not permitted to use the Spa.
We work closely with Norland Nannies, whose student nannies can babysit your children while you are out at dinner, on an adults-only activity, or at an event.
These highly recommended nannies can come to your room to babysit, or even come along to an event with you - a perfect option for weddings where you want your children to be present but closely attended to throughout.
