Bath is a wonderful destination for families! From the fascinating Roman Baths to burning off some energy at one of the city’s many beautiful parks, there is plenty to do as a family. Check out our top ten recommendations for things to do with children.
Family-friendly hotel rooms
We have interconnecting rooms available, but if you’d prefer to stay in one room then our Heritage rooms, Master rooms or Suites can accommodate cots, extra beds or sofa beds.
We can provide cots for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old, bathrobes and high chairs at no additional charge.
Extra beds for children from 3 years up to 11 years old have a charge of £50 per child, per night.
Older children from 12 to 16 years old can be accommodated on a sofa bed in our Master Rooms and Deluxe Suites, charged at £150 per child, per night. No extra beds are available in our Heritage bedrooms.
Ages 17 and above are considered adults and will be treated accordingly.
We are delighted to make special arrangements for room fridges for storing children’s drinks, food and medicine. Just let us know in advance.
With your permission, we can also put a toy basket in your room.
Our Executive Head Chef David Campbell has designed a healthy, child-friendly menu for the restaurant. And if there is a favourite meal that’s required – just ask!
Children aged between 12 and 16 are allowed to use the 12-meter relaxation pool when accompanied by an adult.
30 minute facials and nail treatments are available to children aged between 12 and 16 years of age, when accompanied by an adult.
Children under 12 are not permitted to use the Spa.
Hotel Babysitting Service
These highly recommended nannies can come to your room to babysit, or even come along to an event with you - a perfect option for weddings where you want your children to be present but closely attended to throughout.
