Worth Six Stars!

This hotel is faultless. You pay a great deal - but it is worth every penny. The Service is the key feature. Top class staff making you feel right at home with unobtrusive service. Restaurant food - breakfast and dinner- absolutely outstanding. Great location.

Had not stayed before, looking forward to going back!

A truly lovely hotel in a beautiful setting and just minutes from the city centre. The management team were second to none and this cascaded down to the rest of the team. The General Manager was even around at breakfast time ensuring that everything was running smoothly and that everyone was happy. The food was consistently excellent. 

Room Tip: Garen or Royal Crescent View. The Garden is quiet and pretty but for the sense of history, a Crescent view room would be better.

We booked two rooms for our daughter's recent graduation and we were treated to 24-hours of impeccable service. The hotel made every effort to accommodate our needs (It is worth communicating clearly in advance if you have any special requests or questions) and we had two lovely rooms. For sure, the bathroom in our room, shower only as requested was on the small side but you need to remember that these period properties were never built with bathrooms in mind. plus having the only room in the entire crescent with a 1st floor arched window more than made up for this. The view was spectacular. 

Drinks and breakfast in the garden is a real pleasure, a haven from the world outside. We had a really good evening meal at The Dower House Restaurant as well. 

The Spa is simple and tastefully done, it has one of the nicest pools I have ever used. Vitality Pool, Steam and Sauna also in the same area. All inclusive for guests. 

Overall, however, it was the helpfulness an friendliness of the staff that made the difference. From a warm welcome, effortless check-in and knowledgeable restaurant team, the whole visit was made by their positive, friendly but not overly obsequious attitude. Even the Gardner was congratulating my daughter on her degree. 

Only issue? We didn't want to leave

We came to relax in Bath. Never expected to spend so much time at the hotel. Room was large with an amazingly comfortable king size bed. Food, drink, staff, and gardens all wonderful. You think it’s only the front on the Crescent but it opens up to an oasis. Martin, at the front, was amazingly helpful.
