Head Pastry Chef

Are you a proven Pâtissier with real creative flair? Want to hone your skills at a 3AA Rosette Fine Dining Restaurant? We are looking for a pastry chef to take our cakes and desserts to another level at our on-site Montagu's Mews Restautant.

We are looking for a motivational and enthusiastic individual who will drive and develop their team to ever-greater culinary heights. We would like you to have experience in a five-star or four red star environment with multiple AA rosettes or Michelin background. You must have a good all-round skill set, encompassing plated desserts, afternoon tea and banqueting.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent technical ability
  • Experience in volume and quality
  • Excellent all-rounder in everything pastry-based (afternoon tea and plated desserts especially)
  • Ability to motivate and develop the team plus excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and guests alike
  • Management of health and safety systems, cleaning schedules, staff rostering and management of stock levels
  • Menu development in conjunction with the Executive Chef, with a focus on seasonality and innovation
