A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Head Chef to come and take our Dower House Restaurant to new heights!
We are looking for a motivated and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team of 16, and to evolve the culinary offering here at the Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa.
With proven fine dining success within a 5* or Rosette environment, you will be responsible for the food from conception to execution. You will work closely with other chefs and oversee the operations of the kitchen to exceed the culinary expectations of guests. Effective communication, commercial awareness, quick decision-making and ability to delegate are just some of the skills that we would expect you to have to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the kitchen. At times, you will need to work with the commercial team to explore new package, event, press and promotional opportunities.
This unique opportunity will suit an ambitious Chef, with a passion for discerning flavours, who stays abreast of trends in fine dining and who can bring new thinking and modern elements to our restaurant, all whilst upholding our reputation for excellence here at The Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa.
The contracted hours for this role are 45 hours across five days per week.
